We took a 3 man limit in about 3 hours of fishing. Mostly 14"-16" fish(no size limit in Canada) but a couple of 19"rs. Got wet but it was worth it. Great to spend time with my busy son Bob and my adopted son Mike, LOL!

July 1 - Paul Doute  June 27th report for Saginaw Bay. Made a trip up to fish good old Saginaw Bay with fellow DWF members Don Kwasny and Ed Kolle. We made short work of a 3 man limit of walleye. A good time was had by all! Purple and Gold 6mm beads with gold blade was the best producing harness. Capt. Paul

June 28 - Mark Schaller Went back over to the Amherstburg Channel Saturday (6/27), picked up another limit and released seven.  One fish was 17 inches long, the other 12 were all 15 inch "cookie cutter" walleyes.  Water temp was 71 degrees and clear except for the weeds.  One minute the river would be clear and before you knew it you would need a bush hog to get through all the weeds and mayfly casings.  Go to the link for a picture of the spoons I used, the one on the left caught the majority of the fish the last two trips.

I have been fishing over thirty years and have caught five to ten muskie in all that time. Art and I had nine, that's correct NINE, muskie on our lines. We caught 8 walleye and other fish but the muskie fishing was unreal. Art caught two muskies within three minutes of each other. I know if one of you was to tell me this story I would be thinking to myself, guy must've been on some drugs, it's impossible to catch that many muskie in one day much less a career of walleye fishing. It will always be a memorable day to me with my good friend Art. Good fishing to all and see you at the fish fry.
