and released seven. One fish was 17 inches long, the other 12 were
all 15 inch "cookie cutter" walleyes. Water temp was 71
degrees and clear except for the weeds. One minute the river would
be clear and before you knew it you would need a bush hog to get through
all the weeds and mayfly casings. Go to the link for a picture of
the spoons I used, the one on the left caught the majority of the fish the
last two trips.

June 13 - John Hart Art and I went out again today, June 12th, (Same
place and pattern as posted below) and have to share this unbelievable day
with you all. I have been fishing over thirty years and have caught five
to ten muskie in all that time. Art and I had nine, that's correct NINE,
muskie on our lines. We caught 8 walleye and other fish but the muskie
fishing was unreal. Art caught two muskies within three minutes of each
other. I know if one of you was to tell me this story I would be thinking
to myself, guy must've been on some drugs, it's impossible to catch that
many muskie in one day much less a career of walleye fishing. It will
always be a memorable day to me with my good friend Art. Good fishing to
all and see you at the fish fry.
June 12 - Greg Warsow - Fished

Caught most of them on red white a blue jig, go figure, and the good ole
Wyandotte worm.
June 10 - Jerry Hinton, Greg Warsow
and Tom Taylor headed for Holiday Beach this morning about 9:45 am. Done
by 1:00pm with 18 nice fish. Variety of sizes and even let go a couple
12" along the way. We were in 18-23fow about a mile east of the

#6 blades and in-lines. White and purple colors worked the best.
Most caught in 22-24 FOW. They moved off the bottom late
morning and found them with mini-dipsy's, 60-80 ft back. One was 8.5

and no sheeps. Tried Hot n Tots and spoons with no takers other than

May 30 - Tom Ebi The walleye are
off Stoney point in 24 to 27 f.o.w. Bouncers have only been
taking junk fish for us unless it's 3+ fter's. 20 to 45 back on 1oz
inlines at 1.2 to 1.5 mph has been working quite well. perch pattern,
silver and gold blades have been the best. if you run jets, #30 jets 35
back with harnesses. smaller than usual pods of fish so you have to keep
working them. lots of short fish and plenty of perch and white perch are
coming on harnesses.

May 18 - Ben Dascal Caught
one eye 5-16-09 & 5-17-09 on northeast corner of mud island with 1/2
oz green jig in 25'-32' of water, high winds made fishing difficult.
Silver bass not as many as Trenton. Also if fishing near or in Canadian
water, be careful, Canadian Police checking Fishing license. Two days
Saturday and Sunday, I saw them near the same spot giving tickets.
May 17 - Bruce Snyder Report
from Friday the 15th. I thought I had lost my jigging touch. But this time
out we took a 2 man limit of walleyes, and numerous smaller ones, from Mud
Island area up by and across from U.S. Steel. We took a couple of fish
from each area, including one male that went about 5lbs. I kept changing
colors, but a green jig with the brown worm worked the best.

Bob Hinton, Mike Pasik and Tom Taylor fished the Trenton channel today and
took 9. Most came on 3/4 and 1 oz jigs with minnows and most came on the
stinger. We did get some bigger fish lower in channels at the southern end
of Humbug Island. only a couple came in the flats. Wind was huge factor
today. Tried the Horseshow for perch, nada today???

caught 8 (7 - 21-26" 1 - 16") on 3/4 & 1 oz jig with minnow

of the plant and held in 4-9' of water, temp around 41.5. Fished 4/8

Caught 8 - 1 in the flats, 7 - right at mouth of stacks discharge -
same jig set-up, but kept close to the shoreline (4-8' depth - temp about
